Ground operations

Right now (Saturday night) this street should be full of teenagers and young couples making their way to the city center for a movie or just to hang out with their friends, but as you see right now it is quite empty of people. perhaps it is because many people left the city for the weekend or because of the beginning of ground operations in Gaza and the sound of helicopters and missile fire (to be fair Israeli missiles being fired on Gaza).

Siren

I'm in our bomb safe area at work.
After 4 siren alarms in beer-Sheba and 1 direct hit in Ashkelon It definitely seems like an very eventful day - and it doesn't seems like it's going to be over soon. at least not before Monday, after the UN security council meeting.
